Position Overview - Frontend Developer

Profile Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Frontend Developer to join our European engineering team. This role requires exceptional expertise in building performant, scalable, and accessible user interfaces that comply with European digital standards. The successful candidate will craft intuitive, high-quality web applications while collaborating closely with designers, backend engineers, and product teams to deliver seamless user experiences across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and optimize responsive web applications using TailwindCSS.
• Ensure code quality, maintainability, and performance through clean architecture, testing, and CI/CD practices.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into pixel-perfect implementations.
• Develop and maintain reusable components, design systems, and accessibility-compliant interfaces.
• Integrate with backend APIs and services while ensuring secure, efficient data handling.
• Conduct performance profiling, debugging, and cross-browser/cross-device compatibility testing.
• Ensure compliance with EU standards for accessibility, privacy, and cybersecurity in frontend development.
• Contribute to agile development practices, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and European regulations affecting digital product development.

Qualifications & Experience

• Proven experience as a Frontend Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role.
• Strong proficiency in modern JavaScript, HTML5, CSS3, and TailwindCSS.
• Experience with cryptographic libraries and OWASP.
• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and client-server architecture.
• Proficiency with build tools and package managers, such as npm.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms and deployment is an advantage.
• Understanding of secure coding practices, GDPR-compliant data handling, and EU web accessibility standards.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to deliver high-quality solutions under deadlines.

Language & Communication Requirements

• Professional proficiency in English, written and spoken, is mandatory.
• Proficiency in an additional EU language, such as German, French, Spanish, Dutch or Italian, is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills in cross-functional, international teams.

• Candidates must be eligible to work within the European Union.

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related technical field.
• Experience with frontend testing frameworks and methodologies.

• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps integration for frontend deployments.
• Contributions to open-source projects, participation in European tech conferences, or publications.
